Three of us dined at Cafe Rome on the last day of summer 2025. My husband had Spanish eggs, I had Prawn and Spinach Fettucine and our friend had Prawns & Macaroni etc. All of us loved our meals and the coffee was excellent.

Love the cozy atmosphere, with soft guitar music playing in the background. My back appreciated sitting on the comfy couch and the decaf coffee was tasty! Will definitely come here more often.

Great food, very accommodating. Table of 4 including our mum , from local rest home. Staff were great at booking a table with easy access for her food was great, with helpful, friendly staff. Woukd definitely go again.

Great coffee! Yummy Eggs Montreal breakfast, not overloaded with hollandaise which is good. The service was great, acknowledged as soon as I walked in. I was here for a work trip, so grateful it was open at 7am Lots of space and good location in amongst the shops.

Dropped by for an afternoon brunch because we could have our dog outside. The food was exceptionally priced, possibly the best prices in Wellington region. The food when it arrived was sublime and beautiful. Portion size was generous. Wine was best price we have found in Wellington and once again very generous on volume in glass. Overall our experience was lovely and the food and wine delicious. Service was outstanding too. Will be visiting again and would recommend this Cafe as a MUST STOP destination while visiting upper hutt.
